Team Canada (and your Calgary Rage players Annie Tremblay #13 and Erin Walton #63) played their first game of the Women's World Championship in Vantaa, Finland today, handily defeating Team Spain by a score of 50-0. Team Spain was a worthy opponent, despite the lopsided score, and were enthusiastic and fought to the last whistle. Great sportswomanship by both teams!
Team Canada's next game will be versus Finland on Thursday, July 4 at 11:00am, MST and can be seen via web streaming on this site:

Job well done ladies, you've made us all proud!!
I'm taking this little tidbit from a fellow teammate from her post on Facebook (Thanks Kait!!):
To my other Team AB girls who didn't make it - let me share words of encouragement that we're given to me this morning "...you WERE successful... You just didn't make the team.... You were SUCCESSFUL at testing your limits, you were successful at making new connections/friends, you were successful in strengthening your foundation & presence in the sport ... It's the FAILURES that make WINNERS shine..." ♥
The 2012 Season has Officially Ended! But the commitment continues on! We are continuing our commitment to fundraising and Ushering at upcoming Stampeders games and there is always a commitment to recruitment for everyone who plays for the RAGE!

Game 3 - A Valiant Effort!Another hard fought loss on Saturday to the Lethbridge Steel. Mistakes cost us again, but with some fine tweaking we will be ready for the Storm on June 16th here in Calgary at Shouldice Park!
